The church with a friendly welcome - please come and join with us! We are a growing congregation located in Barking, Essex. We are an independent church with links to the FIEC. Our church is located just behind the shops at Faircross (See Map). There is free parking available at the church. We have a range of activities throughout the week for the whole family. Upney Baptist Church has recently made some major improvements to its buildings. All the buildings are now wheelchair accessable and we have also added an extension which incorporates new toilets and baby changing facilities. We also have a loop system for those who are hard of hearing.

"A Passion for Life" 2010 Mission

There are plans for a mission to take place across the country in 2010. Our church is prayerfully excited and seeking to personally encourage churches in our area to get involved.

Developed over 10 years, Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. If you are interested please send us an email, call or visit the church.
