evangelism

Christian evangelism is a fundamental aspect of the faith that is based on the Great Commission entrusted to us by Jesus Himself. The Great Commission, found in the Gospel of Matthew, is a commandment given by Jesus to His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This directive serves as a cornerstone for Christian evangelism, highlighting its importance and significance within the faith.

Evangelism is crucial because it embodies the mission of spreading the Gospel message and sharing the love of Christ with others. We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and they are motivated by a deep desire to share this life-transforming truth with those who have not yet encountered it. The belief in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ compels believers to proclaim the good news and invite others to experience the abundant life that comes through a personal relationship with Him. By engaging in evangelism, we actively participate in fulfilling the Great Commission, expressing our obedience to Christ’s command and our love for humanity.

It serves as a means for believers to fulfill their calling, share the life-changing message of the Gospel, and bring hope, love, and redemption to people from all walks of life. By obeying this commandment, we actively contribute to the expansion of God’s kingdom and invite others to experience Jesus Christ in their own lives.
